Animation
Last week during the second section of my training session that was provided by Cirencester college, and taught by Bryan Panks, I was given more experiance with the use Adobe After Effects. This program is used within the media industry and I feel that its greatest strength is in the use of editing existing pieces of media such as films or through the use of camera input into a video capture program.
This program allows you to work with and create primarily non-interactive pieces of media, which seperates it from the program Adobe Flash which I have some prior experiance with in creating incredibly basic interactive games.
The session also helped me come back into the world of pencil drawings, in which we had the task of creating a set of cartoon charecters after creating a random inital base shape from a doodle. These assets where then imported into after effects where we started building basic animations which Il put work into creating a basic animation with.
In another note during my work within Proctor & Stevenson I have successfully launched my mobile site into the dev / QA phase where I expect to have a list of styling issues & bugs outlined to me over the next few days which will likely be the majority of my work for the next two days. Alongside any work on styling my new website project for another one of our clients which is still being built, and is in the theming stage.
